Oxiea:
"This week's topic: FREEDOM I find very important and interesting to discuss. This past year we have been limited from freedoms that we might have taken for granted such as the ability to travel, to see many people, to embrace each other and visit cultural places. It is interesting to see how quickly freedom of choice is taken away and how quickly people adapt.
Another topic of FREEDOM that I find important is the ability to say NO and to walk away. That is why I chose the anecdote that I did for this week's topic. "I couldn't get the hang of bookkeeping so I walked out".
For example if an institution or an individual invites you as an artist I think that you should have the freedom to express yourself and to negotiate. There should be a mutual understanding of respect towards each other. And otherwise you can walk out. As a young emerging artist you can walk away from a situation you don't feel comfortable in. This is how I approached this week's theme.
What are your views on FREEDOM?"
Hue:
"There are many definitions of freedom that we can easily search on the internet. About 803,000,000 results for keyword "freedom", I just checked. :))
I think everyone would have a personal definition of freedom. Depends on their circumstances and personalities.
For me, freedom is simply doing what I love, and do it often.
