"As we discussed over the last days, when we think about heritage, traditions and nature is something that describes both of our countries. Coming from a country where there are still a lot of cultural traditions respected especially during Christmas or Easter where people dress in national clothing, sing traditional carols or attend the church where they have to listen to the service and walk around the church.
Besides this, living abroad for the last 4 years, I feel like all I have been used to, all these traditions and holidays that I use to take part of together with my family are falling apart step by step because of the different demographics but also simply because of the times we live in, technology or the people that leave their home in order to search for something better for their life.
Moreover, one of the best memories I had during my childhood was the place my grandparents used to live, where I used to go on every holiday and spend days or weeks taking the cows on the field, getting fresh milk in the morning or just playing with all the kinds that were in that small village, about 40 km away from the closest city. These were the best times where nothing was needed, no cell phones, no computer or any kind of gadgets because you will just spend the days playing on the front street until sunset when my grandma was calling me at the window to come back inside.
To be honest, since I moved out of Romania, I'm starting to be more 'melancholic' about this experiences that I used to have and also knowing that this will never be the same again, it makes me feel even sadder. My heritage, the place I was born and all the good or bad things that I experienced made me be the person I am today, and I will always be proud of the land where my roots are from.
The image I will choose for the assignment will be about these experiences I had so far, about what I miss the most and what made me be happy and proud over the years. Regarding the food, this is another subject which has the same story as above, even though I'm trying to cook as much as possible traditional food like home. Unfortunately, this can't always be possible, and I feel like sometimes I just need to adapt to what's possible and accessible to us. For this image I will be using the contrary, where I will try to show the food I have access to and not necessarily the food that represents the place I come from.
With all this being said, this is what Heritage represents to me and I really wanted to take this very personal with the experiences I have been through and especially what I miss the most from my childhood and family.

Thank you for your sharing, that was beautiful when you talk about your memories with your grandfather.
This is the first trip since I got back to Vietnam, driving on the road and looking at the beautiful landscapes of each area made me so happy.
When I was driving on the road of Mang Den area, the mountain area. the thought about the build and natural heritage has been in my head as in one second I see the beautiful primary forest, and the next second what I saw is that the whole hill is on construction.
I understand It starts from the needs and the desire of expanding of people, they have to open up for a better living, and development is necessary.
However, in that situation, many landscapes will be affected, not only landscapes but they might also affect the people as well. For example, A lot of local families has left their land because of the construction.
The question is that how could we develop the land, add new value to the land but we can maintain the heritage that nature gave to the land?
For the heritage topic, I would choose the image which shows the interference of natural heritage and man-made heritage.
And for the food topic, I have been tried different types of food after one week of travelling, and for this image, I will pick my favourite dish so far. This is not my traditional food as I from Saigon. It's a regular dish which people normally cook in the area.
