"Lately, I've been realizing that we, as humans, are creating bigger and bigger machines; we tent to build structures and spaces that were never done before at this scale and this phenomenon is kind of frightening me for what it could become in the future. Even if we look at Artificial Intelligence and the growth of over the past years, we can clearly see the human power that is advancing over creating gadgets and instruments that are and will be taking over the human abilities which, in the end, could even replace us.
We can already see tools that replaced people, from automatizations to self-driving cars which are making people fear on their future, if they will still have a place to work or if they will still be simply needed. I think there is an interesting clash between the power of the human and the power of the machine; In the last decades, we managed to evolve technologically in an alarming way, the demand of such appliances is getting to another level, fact that makes me feel smaller and doubtful about what would my next 20 years look like.
Furthermore, we are such small individuals in this universe, living on a small planet where we started to massively use our resources, to destroy our ecosystem without thinking on the impact that this could have in time. All of this only for creating bigger and stronger instruments, for the exploitation of available supplies which would, in the end, bring more power to certain individuals.
My approach on this was to show enormous aspect of this machines and how small we became in comparison to them which questions myself about the role we will still have in this small piece of land, called Earth.

For this topic, I would look at power from a spiritual perspective, more specifically, I want to have a thought about the power of water.
In my opinion, there is a relationship between power and faith. When we believe in something, we get its energy from it. And at the moment, water is what I believe, and I'm learning this power to apply it to my life. Water has great adaptability, it can be very gentle, it can give life and heals. The thing is most of the time water has calm look but has potential danger. It could be surprisedly violet, and capable of sweeping everything. That's why I think understanding and appreciating this natural power is necessary and to me, that's one of our roles on this planet because as we all know, without water, we can not survive.
Around 1 week ago, that was a late afternoon walk with my friend in the city. When we cross the bridge, we look down at the river, and what we saw was the heavily polluted water. The color of the water was jet-black, and still as a mirror, and we could see the pink color of the sunset imprinted on that mirror. It was a beautiful moment and I took that picture. However, when I see it on my laptop, I could feel a certain amount of fear from the photo when looking at its details, which bore a deadly omen like the black water itself.
